David Kimbrough, Jr. began playing with his late father when he was six. The legendary David ‘Junior’ Kimbrough then ran a famous juke joint, All Night Long, in Chulahoma, Mississippi. The son proudly carries on the family legacy. He managed the juke joint until it burned down in 2000 and wrote songs while serving time at Parchman Farm. He plays festivals and records albums, sharing the syncopated hypnotic rhythm, the raw sound, and the history of the Mississippi Hill Country.
